The member representing Ughelli North Ughelli South Udu Federal Constituency in the House of Representative, Rt Rev Hon Francis Ejiroghene Waive has charged constituents and Deltans not to give up following the trying year 2020, but keep hope alive as believers.

Hon Waive who is the Deputy Chairman House Committee on Power, in 2020 Christmas message to his people noted that 2020 indeed has been a challenging year, but that the message of hope that Christmas brings becomes even more vital at such time as this.

According to him, “2020 indeed has been a challenging year. To make matters worse, our country has undergone security, economic and social upheavals that could have been better managed or even avoided.

“At a time like this, the message of hope that Christmas brings becomes even more vital. We must not give up. Christ came to give life and give it more abundantly.

“As we celebrate the birth of our Savior, I pray that it marks a new beginning for our country. I urge all our people to keep hope alive and celebrate in peace & good health.

“I wish you all a merry Christmas and a happy New Year in advance.”
