Kola Ologbondiyan Urges Yahaya Bello to Submit to Law Amid EFCC Investigation

Kola Ologbondiyan, the former national publicity secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has called on former Kogi state governor Yahaya Bello to come out of hiding and submit himself to the law amid an ongoing investigation by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
The anti-graft agency has declared Bello wanted for alleged money laundering, and his failure to appear before a federal high court in Abuja has been attributed to fear of arrest by the EFCC.
Speaking with TheCable, Ologbondiyan emphasized the importance of Bello facing the law, regardless of his guilt or innocence, stating that it is the law that will ultimately decide his fate.
He urged the former governor to listen to the advice of Nigerians who have called for him to submit himself to the law.
Ologbondiyan highlighted the irony of a former chief law officer of a state attempting to evade the law, and suggested that Bello’s attempts to avoid arrest are unnecessary.
He reiterated his belief that the only option left for Bello is to face the law and allow due process to take its course.
The call for Bello to submit to the law comes after his media team stated that the former governor is not running from the law but wants due process to be followed.
The situation has generated significant attention, as Nigerians await the outcome of the ongoing investigation and legal proceedings.
