Governor Ododo of Kogi State Vows to Eliminate Criminal Elements

Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo of Kogi State has reiterated his administration’s commitment to eliminate criminal elements and ensure the safety and security of lives and property in the state.
During the unveiling of new operational vehicles for the Kogi State Vigilante Service in Lokoja on Friday, Governor Ododo emphasized the importance of maintaining law and order and stressed that the fight against criminals in the state must be won.
In his address, Governor Ododo commended President Bola Tinubu for his determination to address the security challenges in the country.
He assured President Tinubu that the Kogi State government is fully committed to a comprehensive approach to tackle security issues and will stand shoulder to shoulder with the President in identifying and bringing criminals and their sponsors to justice.
The Governor highlighted the strategic importance of Kogi State as a gateway to both the North and the South and emphasized the need for a robust security system.
The new operational vehicles, which are the first installment of several hundred to be provided, will enhance the safety and security of all parts of the state.
Governor Ododo also mentioned the recent launch of the Metropolitan Quick Response in Lokoja and other major towns as part of the evolving security measures aimed at ensuring a safe environment.
He reiterated that the government’s resolve to maintain law and order is total and that the fight against criminals must be won.
The Governor’s commitment to addressing security challenges in the state reflects his administration’s focus on ensuring the safety and well-being of its residents.
With the support of President Tinubu and the collaborative efforts of the state and federal governments, Governor Ododo is determined to create a secure environment for the people of Kogi State.
