Dangote Slashes Diesel, Aviation Fuel Prices to N940, N980: Strategic Partnership with MRS Oil and Gas Stations

Dangote Petroleum Refinery has announced a further reduction in the prices of both diesel and aviation fuel.

The new prices are set at N940 and N980 per liter, respectively, for customers buying five million liters and above from the refinery, while those purchasing one million liters and above can buy at N970.

This is the third major reduction in diesel price within a span of three weeks, following the initial reduction from N1,700 to N1,200, and then to N1,000 per liter.

Dangote Petroleum Refinery has also entered into a strategic partnership with MRS Oil and Gas stations to ensure that consumers can purchase fuel at affordable prices across all their stations, including Lagos and Maiduguri.

The partnership aims to prevent retail buyers from paying exorbitant prices for diesel and aviation fuel.

This initiative is part of the Dangote Group’s commitment to improving the welfare of Nigerians and helping to cushion the effects of economic challenges in the country.

The company’s decision to further reduce the prices of both diesel and aviation fuel has been commended by various stakeholders, including President Bola Tinubu, who described it as an ‘enterprising feat.’
