Dangote Petroleum Refinery Slashes Diesel and Aviation Fuel Prices in Nigeria

Breaking: In a significant move to alleviate the economic burden on Nigerians, Dangote Petroleum Refinery has announced a reduction in the prices of both diesel and aviation fuel.

Effective immediately, diesel will now be sold at ₦940 per liter, while aviation fuel will be available at ₦980 per liter.

Dangote Petroleum Refinery has outlined specific conditions for these new prices. Customers purchasing five million liters or more of diesel will benefit from the reduced price of ₦940 per liter.

For those buying one million liters or more of aviation fuel, the price will be set at ₦980 per liter.

This strategic move is aimed at providing relief to various sectors of the Nigerian economy, including transportation, manufacturing, and aviation.

The company’s Head of Communication, Anthony Chiejina, explained that this decision is in line with Dangote’s commitment to supporting the Nigerian people during difficult times.

He emphasized that the partnership with MRS Oil and Gas stations will ensure that consumers can access fuel at affordable prices across the country, including major cities like Lagos and Maiduguri.

In addition to the collaboration with MRS, the company plans to extend the reduced prices to other major oil marketers in the country.

This initiative is a testament to the Dangote Group’s dedication to improving the welfare of Nigerians and mitigating the impact of economic challenges.
