The programme which is slated for June 22, 2018, at 11.30am, will commence with a visit to Ekpan Secondary School, where the team will give a pep talk on peace to the students.
As part of the programme, the foundation will thereafter move to Ekpan roundabout for the unveiling of a “Peace Signpost.”
A statement released by the media office of PHEW Foundation, Chigbo Uche said, that the programme is aimed at sensitizing the young ones on the need to give peace a chance, noting that without peace there can’t be meaningful development.
It would be recall that on May 5th, the foundation was at Dom Domingos College, Edjeba, Delta state where they had seminar, teaching the students the importance of “caring for the environment, not to litter waste, to stop burning tyres because it increases the carbon footprint.”
The programme which was tagged: “Protect the environment, Plant a tree,” also saw the foundation encouraged and taught the students on how to recycle reuse and reduce.
The students were also thought the importance of tree planting and thereafter they went out to plant trees in the walkway of the school.
