The Member Representing Udu Constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly, Chief Peter Okagbare Uviejitobor congratulates the newly sworn-in Chairman of Udu Local Government Council, Chief Jite Brown, his Vice Chairman, Comr. Justice Iyasere and the 20 Councilors of Udu Legislative Arm on their landslide victory in the just concluded local government election.
In a statement he personally signed, Uviejitobor said the victory of PDP in the LG polls further shows that PDP is fully on ground and the developmental strides of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa in Udu LGA has not gone unnoticed.
He said; “I heartily congratulate our new Chairman of Udu local government Council, Chief Jite Brown, his Vice, Justice Iyasere and the 20 Councilors on their victory in the polls because it is a victory for democracy; and with this performance, it has become glaring that Udu is now a PDP constituency.
“I also commend the electorates and my supporters for voting PDP from councilor to the Chairmanship position during the election. I therefore urge the newly sworn-in Chairman, Vice and the 20 councilors to continue with the good works of PDP in following the smart agenda of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa”
“While thanking the Delta State Independent Electoral Commission (DSIEC) for providing a level playing field in conduct of the election, Hon. Uviejitobor further commended the security agents for being on ground in safe-guarding the electorates during the polls.”
