Sapele PDP stakeholders extol Hon Anirah’s unequalled representation in the House of Assembly

By Ovasa Ogaga,

Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, and stakeholders in Sapele Local Government Area have commended, the member representing the constituency in the Delta House Of Assembly Member, High Chief (Hon.) Felix Uruemuesiri Anirah for unequalled representation.

The party stakeholders gave the commendation when Chief Anirah paid a consultation visit to the leaders to intimate them of his quest to return to the House.

According to them, Chief Anirah’s unparalleled record of service to the Sapele constituency aptly deserves another tenure, based on the benefits derived so far since his assumption at the state legislative house.

Among those who insisted on a second term for Anirah at Asaba, were top-notch stakeholders in the Sapele community, (who craved anonymity) stating that Sapele has never had it so good in terms of true and concerned representation since the advent of the present political dispensation.

While extolling Anirah’s leadership quality and magnanimity in terms of service delivery and charitable undertakings, they remarked that the former Council Chairmen have done marvellously well for the area from 2019 to date.

Chief Anirah by his pedigree deserves the votes of the people for a second term while plans we plan for his upward movement to the National Assembly with prayers for elongation of his life.

Speaking on behalf of Anirahs entourage at a gathering of political big-wigs, with the attendance of Chief (Col) Moses Babuba Abeke, Chief ( Prof) Ben Owumi, Chief Duke Okereka, Elder Austin Ayemidejor and a host of PDP faithful in Sapele, Professor Owumi noted that the visit was a friendly one, notify Ayemidejor on Anirah’s intention for a second shot at the State House of Assembly.

According to Owumi, “We are encouraged by our representative quality leadership, humane character and milk of kindness to the downtrodden, especially the encouragement of education to the indigents in schools around Sapele.

Others who lend their voices for Anirah’s second bid, debunked fears of new aspirants gunning for the seat, as according to them, there are several legacies already laid by Chief Anirah, amongst which is the all-encompassing Felix Anirah’s  Foundation which caters for the needs of indigent students and scholarships and health benefits to the poor mothers amongst others.

Prof. Owumi further remarked that Anirah’s track records are indelible marks in the political development of Sapele local government and beyond, explaining that the consultation visits are mere formalities rather than apprehension of potential aspirants bidding for the “no vacant” seat of Anirah come, 2023.

“We have not had a bold, tireless and courageous fighter that speaks and defends his constituency in such a manner as Anirah, since the advent of the present democratic setting.

“A man easily accessible, humble, sincere and generous to a fault. Sapele Constituency, Professor Owumi observed, owes Chief Anirah a duty to vote him again and again as their representative, having practically avail himself in every undertaking, in other to change the narratives.

Former ward leaders in Sapele, Mr Greg Omame and Chief Duke Okereka in their responses affirmed that Anirah deserves no campaign, and has proven worthy of no challenge, by the volume of his works that speak for themselves. “He has done so much by embracing everybody, even his perceived enemies to dine and wine with.
