Oboro lauds Secondus commitment to end imposition of candidates in PDP

Delta Central Senatorial aspirant and member representing Okpe, Sapele, Uvwie constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Evelyn Oboro has lauded the National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Prince Uche Secondus’s resolve to end impunity and imposition of candidate in the party.

Oboro stated this while speaking with newsmen after a meeting of the PDP stakeholders in Asaba, Delta state, also commended the national chairman over his promise to work with women and youths of the party to reclaim power at the centre come 2019 general elections.

The lawmaker stated further that the national chairman’s decision to work with women and youths in the party shows that he will not undermine the women and youths in his tenure.

She expressed confidence that women and youths in the party will definitely support the National Working Committee led by the national chairman to ensure that power goes back to the people and the people must make their choice without fear of favour.

While appealing to the people of Delta central senatorial district to continue to support her senatorial aspiration comes 2019, even as she urged Urhobos to secure their voter’s cards to enable them exercise their franchise.
