Nigerian Government Extends Free Rail Services for Citizens

The Nigerian government has decided to extend its free rail services for citizens until January 7, 2024.

The decision comes as a part of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s efforts to make transportation more accessible and affordable for the general public.

Initially, the free rail services were set to end on January 4, 2024. However, the government has decided to extend the services by three more days, providing relief to the citizens who rely on rail transportation for their daily commute.

The Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC) has been working tirelessly to ensure that the rail services are efficient and comfortable for passengers.

The free train rides are available on all routes across the country, and passengers can book their tickets through the NRC’s e-ticketing platform.

The extension of free rail services has been welcomed by the public, with many expressing their gratitude to the government for its efforts to improve the transportation system in the country.

The move is expected to benefit millions of commuters and provide a much-needed boost to the economy.

The Nigerian government’s decision to extend free rail services for citizens is a step in the right direction, and it is hoped that the government will continue to take such initiatives to improve the lives of its citizens.
