Nationwide strike: NLC, TUC in dialogue with FG at NSA’s office

As the nationwide strike continues, the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC, is in talks with the federal government at the NSA’s office.

The meeting, which was reported by newsmen, had the attendance of Labour Minister Simon Bako Lalong, Minister of State Hon. Nkeiruka Onyeajeocha, and NSA Nuhu Ribadu.

The labour leaders, led by TUC President Festus Osifo, NLC Secretary General Emmanuel Ugboaja, and others, are demanding the arrest of the thugs and their backers who attacked them.

The NLC and the TUC had declared the strike after suspected thugs disrupted their peaceful protest.
