Man in court over alleged theft of moulding machine

One Mr Oluwafemi Adeyemi was on Friday appeared before the Akure Magistrates’  Court  for allegedly stealing a block moulding machine.
The prosecution counsel, Mr Olusegun Akeredolu, said that the defendant committed the offence on April 21, 2023 at Idanre in Idanre  Local Government Area of Ondo State.
Akeredolu added that the defendant also stole a hammer and block moulding fabricator, a property of one Mr Adegbeso Adelanke.
He said that he had five witnesses to testify against the defendant.
In a response, the defendant’s counsel, Mr Kehinde Osadugba, asked the court to grant the defendant a bail in the most liberal terms.
Osadugba explained that the defendant was still innocent until otherwise proved.
In his ruling, the court’s magistrate, Mr Damilola Sekoni, granted the defendant bail in the sum of N300,000 with two sureties.

Sekoni adjourned  the case to June 15 for hearing.
