Chief Igbuya Consoles Gbagi’s Family Over the Demise of Olorogun Kenneth Gbagi

The Commissioner Representing Delta State on the Board of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Rt. Hon. Monday Igbuya commiserates with the Gbagi family of Oginigbo in Ughelli South Local Government Area, Sapele people and the Urhobo Nation over the sudden death of Olorogun Kenneth Gbagi at the age of 62.

Chief Igbuya, a former Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly reacting to the news of the demise of Olorogun Gbagi whom he described as a “Real Sapele Boy” expressed shock and sadness over his death.

The Delta APC chieftain in a signed press statement disclosed that though Olorogun Gbagi left so soon, nevertheless, he has left an indelible footprint in the sand of time as an industrialist and a politician.

The statement reads: “It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that I extend my heartfelt condolences to the esteemed Gbagi family of Oginigbo Ughelli South Local Government Area of Delta State, on the passing of the illustrious son, Olorogun Kenneth Gbagi.

“Olorogun Kenneth Gbagi’s legacy is his remarkable contributions to the socio-economic development of Delta State and the Niger Delta region as a whole. His visionary leadership, unwavering dedication, and profound impact on various spheres of life have left an indelible mark that will be cherished for generations to come.

“As the Commissioner representing Delta State on the Board of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), I join in mourning the loss of a distinguished son of the Niger Delta, a real Sapele Boy, whose remarkable achievements have earned him respect and admiration far and wide.

“At difficult times like this, our thoughts and prayers are with the Gbagi family, as they navigate through this period of grief and sorrow. May they find solace in the fond memories shared with Olorogun Kenneth Gbagi and draw strength from the legacy of excellence he leaves behind.

On behalf of my family, I offer our deepest sympathies and stand in solidarity with the Gbagi family as they mourn the loss of their beloved patriarch. May his soul rest in perfect peace.
