Kwara UTME Students Showcase Remarkable Achievements: Governor AbdulRazaq Celebrates Success

Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara State has expressed excitement over the outstanding performance of students from both public and private schools in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
Students from across the state have recorded impressive results, with Master Samuel Oluwasemilore of Government Secondary School, Omu Aran, scoring 358 and 30 students of Eucharistic Heart of Jesus Model College achieving scores between 355 and 300.
The governor has congratulated the students for their achievements, which he believes will inspire younger students to work hard and excel in their studies.
Governor AbdulRazaq has attributed these successes to the state’s focus on education, particularly highlighting the KwaraLEARN program, a tech-based learning initiative recently approved for statewide coverage by the state executive council.
In a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Rafiu Ajakaye, Governor AbdulRazaq emphasized the significance of these achievements, noting that they reflect the progress being made in the education sector in Kwara State.
He also mentioned the recent participation of Kwara State in the World School Debate in Singapore, as well as other accomplishments that demonstrate the state’s commitment to education.
Governor AbdulRazaq has assured the people of Kwara State that his administration will continue to prioritize education and invest in initiatives that will improve learning outcomes.
He announced plans to launch the Kwara Education Trust Fund, which aims to inject additional resources into the education sector and enhance accountability.
With the KwaraLEARN program already yielding impressive results, the governor is confident that the next few years will bring even more success in the education sector.
The state’s focus on technology-based learning and commitment to providing quality education for its students is setting a strong foundation for a bright future.
