A Regional Pastor of the Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Movement in Lagos, Pastor Anselam Ugochukwu, on Sunday urged Christians to be faithful in their relationship with others.

Ugochukwu said this during his message at the Thanksgiving Service in Okota, Lagos, where a couple, Mr and Mrs Kevin Ukwuoma, also had their child presentation.

He said that faithful dealings to all would help one to sustain the status of being a Christian and encourage others to follow suit.

The pastor, who preached on the topic “Requirements to Heaven”, said that the lifestyle of the faithful should reflect Christ in every ramification, to make the society a better place.

He described children as a divine project that God uses to sustain humanity, urging the Ukwuomas to nurture their baby with passion to enable her grow in the fear of the Lord.

The preacher decried nonchalance of parents in child character moulding, saying such carelessness made many youths prone to crime.

He charged parents to live up to their calling to keep children from derailing.

According to him, there will be regrets on the day of reckoning when the book of life is opened and many will not find their names in it.

“Do not follow multitude to commit sin. The fact that many are doing that which is wrong does not make such act to be right.

“Stand out from the trend that is wrong for others to emulate you and be saved, in that way, you will be portraying Christ that has asked us to be faithful.

“As a businessman, ensure that you flee from cheating to make more profit; it a sin. Buy and sell quality things to your customers and at moderate prices too.

“As husband or wife, be faithful to each other; do not be rigid in your disposition to your partner in such a way that one person is subdued and afraid to the other.

“Flexibility should be encouraged in a husband and wife relationship. Always give room for forgiveness in the case of an offence because such is bound to happen.”

The pastor, who frowned at what he called domestic gulf in homes, warned mothers to desist from encouraging children to dislike their fathers and love only them.

He charged people to be holy in all manner of communication.

”Take time to read the word of God and commit to the teachings of the Gospel to ensure heaven at last,” he said.
