The founding leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Delta State and the party’s 2015 governorship candidate, Olorogun O’tega Emerhor, OON, has congratulated the Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, on the occasion of his 63rd birthday anniversary, commended his leadership style, prudent management of state resources, and developmental strides across the state.
Emerhor, in a congratulatory statement issued on Friday, and personally signed by him, described Governor Oborevwori’s 63rd birthday as “another opportunity to celebrate a leader whose commitment to the progress, stability, and development of Delta State continues to inspire confidence and hope among our people.”
He noted that since assuming office, the governor had demonstrated “remarkable leadership, foresight, political maturity, and an unwavering dedication to the welfare of Deltans,” adding that the administration’s MORE Agenda had continued to provide purposeful governance while ensuring that the dividends of democracy were extended to communities across the state.
According to Emerhor, Governor Oborevwori’s inclusive leadership approach and commitment to peace and unity had strengthened the foundation for sustainable development in Delta State.
He stressed that at a period when fiscal discipline and accountability remained critical to effective governance, Governor Oborevwori had shown “commendable restraint, responsibility, and focus” in steering the affairs of the state.
The APC leader also praised the administration’s infrastructure interventions, describing the visible developments recorded across the Delta as evidence of a government committed to improving the lives of citizens and positioning the state for greater economic growth.
