WAEC 2023 GCE Results Released: How to Check Your Scores

The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has announced the release of the 2023 West African Senior School Certificate Examinations (WASSCE) for private candidates.

If you’re one of the candidates who sat for the exam, you can now check your results online.

Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you check your 2023 WAEC GCE result:

1. Visit the WAEC result checking portal at https://www.waecdirect.org/.
2. Enter your 10-digit WAEC Examination Number. Your examination number is your 7-digit center number followed by your 3-digit candidate number (e.g., 4123456789).
3. Select the examination year, which is “2023.”
4. Choose the type of examination as “PRIVATE CANDIDATE RESULT.”
5. Enter the Card Serial Number found on the reverse side of your Scratch card.
6. Enter the Personal Identification Number (PIN) on your Scratch card.
7. Click on the “Submit” button, and your result will be displayed on the screen.

If you’re having trouble checking your result online, you can also check it via SMS. Simply send a text message in the following format: WAECExamNoPINExamYear to 32327.

For example, if your examination number is 4123456789 and your PIN is 12345678, you would send a text message like this: 4123456789123456782023 to 32327.

Remember that you’ll need a WAEC scratch card to check your result, either online or via SMS. You can purchase these cards from authorized dealers, banks, and WAEC offices.
