Tribunal to deliver judgments on Tinubu and 25 govs cases in September

The fate of President Bola Tinubu and 25 state governors hangs in the balance as the tribunals handling the election petitions challenging their victories are expected to deliver their judgements this month.

The tribunals, which have been sitting in Lagos, Sokoto, Delta, Kano, and 21 other states as well as Abuja, have reserved their judgements after the parties concluded their hearings and adopted their written addresses.

Some of the issues raised by the petitioners include over-voting, under-voting, non-compliance with electoral guidelines, violence, intimidation, bribery, and falsification of results.

The tribunals have also concluded hearing the cases and reserved their judgements for this month. The parties have also expressed optimism that they will emerge victorious at the end of the day.

The outcomes of these judgements will have significant implications for the political landscape and stability of the country. The public is advised to remain calm and peaceful as they await the verdicts.
