Turkish club Trabzonspor won't let Nigerian defender Chibuike Nwaiwu go cheap. They're demanding €35 million for the 22-year-old centre-back.

Nwaiwu joined from Austria's Wolfsberger AC in January. He's impressed enormously in the Super Lig since arriving.

The defender made 16 league appearances and chipped in three goals. He also provided one assist for the Istanbul club.

Nwaiwu featured in Trabzonspor's Turkish Cup final victory against Konyaspor. His performances have caught attention across Europe's top leagues.

English Premier League side Fulham has expressed serious interest in signing him. But Trabzonspor aren't budging on their valuation, Turkish outlet Taka Gazete reports.

Should the Nigerian leave, Trabzonspor have already lined up a replacement. They're targeting Gambian defender Abubacarr Sedi Kinteh from Norwegian club Tromsø IL.
