Wikki Tourists have elevated ten players to their senior squad ahead of the 2026-27 Nigeria National League season. Five came from the club's feeder system, while the other five were selected from youth football academies across Bauchi State.

Club chairman Salmanu Abubakar said the selections followed rigorous technical evaluation by the coaching staff, with merit as the sole criterion. He stressed that Wikki Tourists belongs to the people of Bauchi and must nurture homegrown talent.

"Every player who got promoted has earned it through hard work and ability," Abubakar told reporters. "It's our duty to give young footballers in this state a real chance to develop their careers."

The promoted players now begin their journey at the senior level after impressing during assessment sessions. The club has asked Bauchi residents and football enthusiasts to rally behind these emerging talents.

This move reflects Wikki Tourists' commitment to building a sustainable talent pipeline within the state. The club believes investing in youth development strengthens both the team and local football.
