Three Injured in Lagos-Abeokuta Expressway Crash: FRSC Advises Caution

In a recent incident on the Lagos-Abeokuta expressway, three people were injured in a collision involving a truck and a container.

The accident occurred early on Monday morning, according to Mr. Anthony Uga, the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) Sector Commander in Ogun.

The FRSC has attributed the accident to reckless driving and speeding.

In response to the incident, the FRSC has deployed personnel to the scene to ease traffic flow and assist the injured. The victims have been taken to the General Hospital in Ota for treatment.

Uga has urged motorists to exercise caution, patience, and cooperation with the FRSC personnel and other agencies controlling traffic in the area.

He has also advised drivers to take alternative routes to help alleviate the traffic congestion caused by the accident.

Furthermore, the FRSC has called on motorists to reduce their speed, follow traffic rules and regulations, and avoid dangerous driving and driving against traffic to prevent accidents.

This incident serves as a reminder to all road users to prioritize safety and follow traffic guidelines to avoid accidents and ensure a smooth flow of traffic on the Lagos-Abeokuta expressway and other roads.
