Terrorists Kill Six Traders In Katsina

A convoy of traders, guarded by the military, was ambushed by terrorists in Katsina on Friday. More than 20 vehicles came under fire, leaving at least six people dead.

The traders were heading to a weekly market in Yantumaki, a town in Danmusa Local Government Area of Katsina State, from Mai Dabino village.

A driver, who witnessed the attack, said that many of the vehicles were set ablaze and the passengers, including women and children, had to flee for their lives.

The attack has left the local community in mourning and has once again highlighted the ongoing security challenges faced by the region.

The Katsina State Police Command has confirmed the incident and has stated that investigations are ongoing.

It is crucial that the government and security forces work together to address the root causes of terrorism and ensure the safety and security of all citizens.
