Super Eagles Land in Abidjan for AFCON 2023

The Nigerian national football team, the Super Eagles, have arrived in Abidjan, Ivory Coast, to participate in the highly anticipated Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) 2023.

The tournament is set to kick off on January 13th, with Nigeria looking to make a strong showing in their quest for the coveted trophy.

Led by head coach Jose Peseiro, the Super Eagles are eager to showcase their talent and determination in the competition.

The team departed from Lagos, Nigeria, on Wednesday, January 10th, dressed in their traditional green and white colors, exuding confidence and unity.

Upon their arrival at the Félix-Houphouët-Boigny International Airport in Abidjan, the Super Eagles were met with a warm welcome from local fans and media.

The team will be staying at the Pullman Hotel in Abidjan, where they will prepare for their first match against Equatorial Guinea on January 14th.

Nigeria is in Group A, along with host nation Ivory Coast, Equatorial Guinea, and Guinea-Bissau.

The Super Eagles will be looking to secure a victory in their opening match to set the tone for the rest of the tournament.
