Godgift Elkannah has apologized for a blunder that allowed Nasarawa United to equalize during Shooting Stars' 3–2 victory. His mistake handed the Solid Miners a crucial goal in the hotly contested match.
The goalkeeper wasn't pleased with how he played that day. Still, he praised his teammates for their fight and determination in securing the win.
"I feel terrible about that costly error against Nasarawa," Elkannah told 3SCfanstv. "Never in my career have I made such a mistake, but I'm grateful we pulled through and won the game."
Shooting Stars sit fourth on the NPFL standings. The team will look to build on this victory in upcoming fixtures.
