Senator Ned Nwoko has extended warm birthday wishes to Rt. Hon. Victor Ochei, commending him as a visionary leader whose contributions to Delta State’s progress remain undeniable.

Reflecting on Ochei’s tenure in the Delta State House of Assembly, where he served as both a lawmaker and later as Speaker, Nwoko highlighted his impactful leadership. “Victor Ochei was not just another politician in the House; he was a force. His tenure as Speaker was marked by progressive legislation and infrastructural projects that directly improved the lives of Deltans,” he remarked.

Representing Aniocha North from 2003 to 2015, Ochei played a key role in advancing educational reforms, infrastructural development, and youth empowerment programs. His leadership earned him widespread respect, particularly for his efforts in strengthening governance and policymaking.

Beyond politics, Ochei has remained dedicated to philanthropy, championing initiatives such as the Nigerian Wheelchair Basketball Federation and grassroots sports development programs, further solidifying his commitment to societal growth.

Senator Nwoko emphasized Ochei’s lasting influence on Delta politics. “He has been a key player in shaping the political landscape of our state, and his passion for service has never wavered,” he noted.

As Ochei celebrates another year, Nwoko wishes him continued success and greater achievements, stating, “Victor is a brother and a partner in the progress of Delta. May this new year bring him more wisdom, strength, and fulfilment.”
