Senator Nwoko congratulates Obi Prof Epiphany Azinge, on ascension as 14th Asagba of Asaba

Senator Prince Ned Munir Nwoko, representing Delta North Senatorial District, has expressed his heartfelt congratulations to His Royal Majesty, Obi (Prof) Epiphany Azinge, SAN, OON, on his coronation as the 14th Asagba of Asaba.

In an official statement from his media office, Senator Nwoko commended Obi Azinge’s dedication to the role of Asagba, portraying him as the "heart and soul" of Asaba. Recognizing the position's importance, he described His Majesty as a guiding figure of wisdom, unity, and resilience to lead Asaba through both flourishing and difficult times.

“With deep respect and joy, I celebrate your ascension as the 14th Asagba of Asaba,” Senator Nwoko declared. “This moment is not only a personal triumph for you but a monumental occasion for the people of Asaba. Your coronation signifies the continuity of a respected lineage, carrying the weight of our shared history and aspirations for a promising future.”

He further conveyed confidence in Obi Azinge’s ability to meet the demands of modern leadership. “The legacy of past Asagbas empowers you, and with it, you bring the innovative spirit needed for our era. We place our trust in your commitment to lead with empathy, justice, and dedication to the welfare of Ndi Ahaba and Ndi Anioma."
