Senator Ezea Denies Receiving Federal Government Palliative for Constituents

Senator Okechukwu Ezea (LP-Enugu) has denied receiving any material or monetary palliative from the Federal Government for his constituents.

The statement came as a response to allegations that the senator had received millions of naira as a part of the government’s efforts to provide relief to citizens during the ongoing economic crisis.

Senator Ezea, who represents the Enugu North Senatorial District, said in a statement that he is yet to receive any such support from the government.

He also stated that he has been personally funding relief efforts in his constituency to help alleviate the hardships faced by his constituents.

The news of the alleged distribution of palliatives to lawmakers for their constituents has sparked controversy, with some questioning the transparency and fairness of the process.
