Police Arrest Couple for Engaging in Sexual Act Inside Church in Borno

The Police in Borno State recently arrested a young man and woman for engaging in a sexual act inside the All Saint Protestant Church located in the Police College, Maiduguri, Borno State.

The couple, identified as Kaka Ali Umar and Khadija Adam, were caught in the act on Monday, causing outrage among the Christian community.

Pastor of the church, Rev. Danjuma Adamu, reported the incident to the Police, stating that the two individuals were caught in the act while inside the church. He described the act as disgraceful and a desecration of the house of God.

Upon their arrest, the couple was detained at the Metro Division of the Police, where they confessed to their actions.

The Police are currently investigating the matter, and a statement from the Borno State Police Command is expected soon.

This incident has sparked a debate on the lack of respect for religious institutions and the need for increased security measures in places of worship.
