Plateau University Student Murdered After Seeking Divine Protection

A 200-level Computer Science student of Plateau State University, Dading James Jordan, was k!lled by suspected Fulani militias on the night of April 18, 2024.

The attack took place in Chikam, a neighboring community to the university, located in Bokkos Local Government Area of Plateau State.

The murder of Dading, along with two others, occurred just hours after he shared a prayer on social media, asking God for protection amidst continuous gunshots in his area.

His heartfelt plea for divine intervention has left his friends and colleagues in shock and mourning.

The news of Dading’s death has spread quickly on social media, with many expressing their grief and disbelief.

Emma Masok, a friend of the deceased, recounted their last meeting and the conversations they shared about the insecurity in Bokkos and its environs.

He also highlighted Dading’s passion for reading and his role in founding the 3 Talent Hunters Association, a testament to his vision and drive.
