The Organizers of 13th Ibori Golf and Country Club Ladies Open Championship has called on cooperate and government agencies, golf lovers and good spirited individuals to sponsor and support the championship which will attract golfers across the country and West Africa region.
This was disclosed to newsmen today by Igho Ugbegu, Lady Captain of the Ibori Golf and Country Club (IGCC) in Asaba, Delta State, who noted that the championship, organized by the Ladies Section of IGCC, will bring together both ladies and gentlemen from far and wide to test their skills and network.
According to her; “The Ibori Golf and Country Club (IGCC) is pleased to announce the upcoming 13th Ibori Golf and Country Club’s Ladies Open Championship, scheduled to take place from September 19th to 21st, 2024. This prestigious event, organized by the Ladies Section of IGCC, will bring together over 300 female golfers from across Nigeria and the West African region to showcase their skills and engage in valuable networking opportunities.
“Golf enthusiasts, both ladies and gentlemen, will have the chance to compete over the course of three days, with ladies participating in various categories and gentlemen playing over two days as guests. As a sport that can be enjoyed from youth through old age, golf offers immeasurable health benefits, making this championship a unique opportunity to promote both athleticism and well-being.
