Senator representing Delta Central Senatorial District, Senator Ede Dafinone, has felicitated former Governor of Delta State, Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa, CON, on the occasion of his 67th birthday, describing him as a distinguished statesman whose enduring legacy of public service and commitment to good governance continues to inspire leaders across Delta State and Nigeria.
In a goodwill message released on Wednesday, Dafinone joined the family, friends, political associates and well-wishers of the former governor in celebrating the milestone, while thanking God for His grace and faithfulness upon Okowa's life.
The lawmaker commended Okowa's decades of service, noting that his journey from grassroots leadership to occupying some of the highest public offices in the country reflected dedication, selfless service and an unwavering commitment to the advancement of Delta State.

"Your years of dedicated public service, from the grassroots to the highest levels of leadership in Delta State and Nigeria, reflect an enduring commitment to good governance, selfless service and the advancement of our people. Dafinone also offered prayers for the former governor, wishing him continued good health, wisdom and many more years of impactful service.
