Obruthe construct a block of open stall in Ofagbe market, tasks Ofagbe indigenes on unity, devt

The Majority Leader and Councillor representing Ofagbe Ward 04 in Isoko North Legislative Arm, Hon Jimmy Obruthe has charged the people of Ofagbe to remain peaceful, united and work towards the development of the community.

Hon. Jimmy Obruthe gave the charge earlier today while addressing the Egweya (Traditional women council) of Ofagbe community at his ongoing project of construction of an open market stall without dwarf walls at the community big market.

He advised the people to remain hopeful on God and also to rally round the Traditional Ruler of the community, President General of Ofagbe, State government, Local government and support them by way of prayer and commitment in order to attract more development to the area.

The Majority Leader further disclosed that the number of room in the ongoing market project handed over to him by the Local Government is slated to be eight (8), but he used his own discretion and by God helping him to add more two, making it to be ten (10) in numbers.

Hon Obruthe also acknowledged and appreciated the State Governor, His Excellency, Senator (Dr.) Ifeanyi Okowa for his harmonious developmental stride which cut across all nooks and crannies of the state. He also appreciated the Chairman of Isoko North Local Government Council, Hon. Emmanuel Egbabor for his total commitment in improving the standard of the Local Government and also being part of the agents of Governor Okowa’s Stronger Delta agenda.

In a swift response, the leader of the traditional women council, Mrs Akwanuzor Elelewor aka Onini, thanked God for everything and also commend Hon. Jimmy Obruthe for his good representation and for not letting his people down by way of fulfilling his promise earlier made during his election period, adding that, “The year, 2020 is a blessed year for the good people of Ofagbe and prayed God grant the community more development in her regime.”
