The 1990 alumni of Abbi Grammar School, known as the Unique Nobles 90 Association, donated educational materials worth over one million naira to their alma mater, Abbi Grammar School, and its sister institution, Abbi Comprehensive Girls Secondary School, both located in Abbi, Ndokwa West Local Government Area, Delta State.
Presenting the items—including textbooks for school libraries, branded notebooks for students, and packs of chalk—the chairman of Nobles 90, Comrade Shedrack Onitsha, urged students to remain diligent, reminding them that “education is not a scam but a key to success and a great equalizer in society.”
The event was attended by members of the Abbi Grammar Old Students Association (AGOSA), including Barr. Nelson Okuzor, representing AGOSA’s national body, and Sir Godsday Owetemu, chair of the home-based chapter.

“Today, we’re here to reconnect with our roots and give back to the school that was our springboard. We believe in investing in education and want to support you all as best we can. Make use of these resources, and remember, education remains the foundation of any successful career,” Onitsha emphasized.
He encouraged students to utilize the newly donated textbooks, now available in the library and announced plans to sponsor WAEC and JAMB exams for top-performing students.
