NOA Kano and NERC Join Forces to Tackle Electricity Consumer Issues

The National Orientation Agency (NOA) in Kano State has joined hands with the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC) to resolve customer complaints and issues.

The collaboration aims to improve the overall electricity supply framework in the state and foster a more consumer-friendly environment.

The partnership was announced by the Acting Director of NOA in Kano, Alhaji Salusu Garba, during a road walk to mobilize the public for a three-day customer complaint resolution meeting organized by NERC.

The road walk aimed to encourage public participation in the town hall, which will be held from Thursday to Sunday.

During the town hall, electricity consumers will have the opportunity to voice their complaints, suggestions, and observations regarding various aspects of electricity supply, including billing, metering, and transformer issues.

This open dialogue between consumers and service providers is expected to facilitate immediate and transparent resolution of issues.

Representing NERC, Mr. Nelson Agbiche reassured the public that their problems regarding electricity would be resolved without delay.

This commitment to addressing consumer complaints highlights the dedication of both NOA and NERC to improving the quality of electricity services and customer satisfaction in Kano State.

This collaboration between NOA and NERC marks a significant milestone in the efforts to enhance the electricity supply framework in Kano and sets a precedent for similar interventions across other states.
