Nigerian Art Student Breaks 10-Year-Old Record for Longest Painting Marathon

A Nigerian art student has shattered a decade-old record for the longest painting marathon.

Chancellor, a sophomore at the Savannah College of Art and Design in Atlanta, Georgia, USA, painted for a jaw-dropping 100 consecutive hours, far surpassing the previous record of 60 hours set by Roland Palmaerts (Belgium/Canada) in 2013.

Chancellor’s incredible feat has captured the attention of art enthusiasts worldwide, as he not only broke the record but also created 106 pieces depicting a wide range of subjects, from celebrities to food items, plants, animals, and much more.

The young artist’s dedication and passion for his craft have earned him a well-deserved place in the annals of art history.

Before embarking on this record-breaking endeavor, Chancellor expressed his desire to boost his recognition as an artist both in his school and the world at large.
