NECO Reschedules National Common Entrance Exam and Federal Government Academy Entrance Exam

The National Examinations Council (NECO) has announced the rescheduling of the 2024 National Common Entrance Examination into Federal Unity Colleges and the Entrance Examination into the Federal Government Academy, Suleja, due to low enrolment of candidates.

The National Common Entrance Examination, initially scheduled for April 20, 2024, will now take place on June 1, 2024.

Similarly, the Entrance Examination for Gifted and Talented Children into the Federal Government Academy, Suleja, which was set for May 4, 2024, has been rescheduled to May 25, 2024.

In a statement by Azeez Sani, Acting Director of the Directorate of Information and Digital Communication, NECO has advised all candidates, parents, guardians, schools, and relevant stakeholders to take note of the new dates for the examinations.

The registration of candidates will continue until the new dates for the exams.

This decision by the National Examinations Council aims to ensure that more students have the opportunity to participate in these important examinations.

The exams serve as a gateway for students to enter Federal Unity Colleges and the Federal Government Academy, Suleja, which are known for their high-quality education and facilities.

By rescheduling the National Common Entrance Examination and the Entrance Examination for Gifted and Talented Children, NECO is demonstrating its commitment to providing equal opportunities for students to excel in their academic pursuits.
