Mulade lauds FG efforts over take off of Maritime Varsity

Comrade Sheriff Mulade, an environmental activist and 2019 House of Assembly hopeful has commended the Federal Government for the successful take off of the first Nigerian Maritime University situated at Okerenkoko in Gbaramatu kingdom, Warri South West Local Government Area of the State.

In a press Statement made available to newsmen in Warri, the House of Assembly hopefu expressed gratitude to the Federal Government for the smooth take off of the Institution  and thanked the Delta State Government for the actualisation of what he described as a huge feat achieved.
In his words; “I want to sincerely  express my appreciation to President Mohammadu Buhari and Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State for their tireless efforts toward the kick-off of the Nigerian Maritime University, Okerenkoko and  other stakeholders for their contribution in ensuring the take off of the Institution is successful.
He on behalf of the people of the region  assured the Federal and State Governments of a conducive environment and also guaranteed the security  of staff and students of the institution.
He however,  call on the federal and state government to extend her hands of development to the region especially the  riverine oil and gas producing communities which has been neglected over the years.
