Kwara United's technical adviser, Ashifat Suleiman, wants his players sharp and focused for Tuesday's President Federation Cup showdown.
The defending champions face Sporting Supreme U-19 in the Round of 64 clash at Prince Abubakar Audu University in Kogi.
Suleiman warned against complacency against the lower-league outfit. "We are the defending champions and we must showcase the spirit of champions by playing with full focus, determination and concentration," he told reporters.
Kwara United claimed last year's crown with a 1-0 victory over Abakaliki FC. That triumph ended a 49-year drought for a major trophy.
The Harmony Boys earned a CAF Confederation Cup slot through that success. Now they're hungry to retain their domestic title.
Suleiman emphasized the need for championship mentality. Playing like champions means avoiding an upset, he stressed.
