KASU Partners with Tita to Launch Interactive e-Timetable for Students

Kaduna State University (KASU) has recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Tita Universal Services Limited to provide an e-interactive timetable for its students.

The initiative aims to use the latest technology to ease the way things are done in the university and improve the overall learning experience for both students and lecturers.

The e-interactive timetable, known as Tita, is an online platform that provides students with first-hand information about their course schedules and activities.

The app also allows for easy access to course materials, academic calendars, and submission of assignments online.

According to the company’s secretary, Tita Universal Services Limited, the application was developed after a tragic incident where a student at Imo State University, Owerri, lost her life due to a lack of updated information on class cancellations.

The app aims to prevent such incidents in the future by providing real-time updates and accurate information.

The Tita application offers two main benefits: the Value side and the Business side.

The Value side provides students with the necessary information to manage their schedules effectively, while the Business side leverages the traffic generated on the app to secure corporate endorsements and sponsorships from banks and other institutions.

The application is free for both students and lecturers, with Tita Universal Services Limited covering the costs.

The company encourages students to be consistent in using the app, as it aims to save them time and money.

A 400-level accounting student at KASU, Bala Mary, expressed her excitement about the partnership, stating that the app will help students and lecturers manage their schedules and course materials more efficiently.

The collaboration between KASU and Tita Universal Services Limited marks a significant step forward in the adoption of technology in the education sector, aiming to improve the overall learning experience for students and lecturers alike.
