JAMB Modifies Statement of Result Requirement for Direct Entry Candidates

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has recently announced a modification in the acceptable statement of result for Direct Entry (DE) registration.

The adjustment extends the validity period to include the 2020/2021, 2021/2022, and 2022/2023 academic years.

This adjustment, made by the JAMB management, aims to accommodate a broader range of candidates seeking tertiary education in Nigeria through the Direct Entry mode.

The three-year validity period will now cover the 2020/2021, 2021/2022, and 2022/2023 academic years.

In February, JAMB commenced the sale of Direct Entry forms nationwide and in selected foreign centers.

This opportunity is open to foreign candidates who are interested in pursuing higher education in Nigeria through the Direct Entry mode.

The modification in the statement of result requirement is a welcome development for prospective candidates, as it provides a more inclusive timeframe for applicants.

This adjustment will allow a larger pool of candidates to apply for Direct Entry admission into Nigerian tertiary institutions, thus promoting access to education.

As JAMB continues to work towards streamlining the admissions process, it is essential for prospective candidates to stay updated on the latest requirements and guidelines.

This will ensure a smooth application process and increase their chances of securing admission into their desired institutions.
