Jack Wilshere has made his choice between two trophies for Arsenal. The ex-Gunners midfielder picked which silverware he'd rather see the club claim this season.

Arsenal have just three games left in both competitions. They face Burnley, Crystal Palace, and Paris Saint-Germain across the Premier League and Champions League.

Winning all three matches would hand Mikel Arteta's side both titles. But Wilshere wasn't torn between the two when pressed to choose.

"It's a tough question because Arsenal are in a position where they can win both," he told Metro UK. The midfielder then revealed his preference without hesitation.

He favoured Premier League glory over European success. Growing up in England, Wilshere watched the league his whole life and knows what winning it means.

"To win it is a massive thing," he noted. Though he acknowledged the Champions League holds equal prestige, the Premier League remained his pick.

"I'd say the Premier League for me," Wilshere concluded. Arsenal's hopes of claiming either trophy now rest on their remaining fixtures.
