Hajj Health Checks: Ogun State Gears Up for 2024 with March 5th Medical Tests

The Ogun State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board has declared that it will commence a two-day medical test for 2024 intending Muslim pilgrims between March 5 and 7.

This news comes as a crucial step in ensuring the well-being of pilgrims and the smooth execution of the pilgrimage process.

The medical tests will be conducted at the Board’s Office in Abeokuta, and all intending pilgrims are required to participate in the exercise.

The primary objective of these tests is to ascertain the health status of each pilgrim, thereby providing them with necessary medical advice before embarking on their spiritual journey to Mecca and Medina.

The Executive Secretary of the Board, Alhaji Salau Dauda, emphasized that participation in this exercise is mandatory and an integral part of the pilgrimage process.

This underscores the importance of ensuring that pilgrims are in good health, which will not only contribute to their overall experience but also help prevent any complications during the pilgrimage.

In addition to the medical tests, the Board has scheduled a sensitisation and enlightenment program for Saturday, March 9, at 9:30 a.m. at the Board’s premises.

This program will provide valuable information and guidance to the pilgrims, ensuring that they are well-prepared for the journey ahead.

As the 2024 Hajj pilgrimage approaches, it is essential for all intending pilgrims to prioritize their health and comply with the requirements set by the Ogun State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board.

This will not only ensure a successful pilgrimage but also contribute to the overall safety and well-being of all participants.
