The Nigeria Youth Organisation (NYO) has urged Muslims across the country to use the period of the 2023 Eid-el-Kabir celebration to pray and show love.

In a message he issued on behalf of NYO to celebrate 2023 Eid-el-Kabir, the organisation’s National President, Mr Okorie Okorie, said that Nigeria needed  fervent prayers and love for unity and progress.

Okorie  issued the message  in Abakaliki on Wednesday.

“I urge our Muslim brothers to pray for the nation, especially for the new administration of President Bola Tinubu for a  better Nigeria,” he added.

He urged the youth to be on the right path.

“On behalf of the National Executive Council of the Nigeria Youth Organisation, I use this medium to felicitate all Muslims. I wish them happy celebration,” he said.

On the student’s loan scheme of the Federal Government, the NYO president advised students to maximise the opportunity to secure their  future.

“Make good use of the opportunity in order to contribute positively to the socio-economic growth of our dear country,” Okorie said.
