A group under the aegis of Ethiope East Political Forum (EEPF) has passed a vote of confidence on Governor Ifeanyi Okowa led administration in Delta state, saying that he has kept his electoral promise of prosperity for all Deltans.
The group also passed a vote of confidence on the Delta State chairman of Peoples Democratic Party, Barr. Kingsley Esiso saying that his leadership of the party in local government area; will ensure the party’s continuous victory in future election.
Moving the motion at an enlarged meeting of Ethiope East Political Forum held at Kokori, Delta state, Olorogun Arthur Akpowowo, former PDP State House of Assembly candidate, stated that the vote of confidence passed on Okowa led administration and Barr. Kingsley Esiso was to clear the assumptions in some quarters that members of the EEPF are betrayaling the party.
According to him, “this motion is to clear the assumption that we are betrayals and also based on the antecedents of fulfilling the prosperity for all Deltans agenda which manifested through massive construction of roads and other laudable projects across the state.”
Seconding the motion before it was unanimously adopted, Chief (Mrs.) Philippa Atagana Longe stated that the Okowa had performed well, stressing that like a winning team, the Governor should be allowed to run in 2019 to complete the good work he had started.
She added that members of the EEPF are quite impressed on the foundation of development the governor has laid and which cannot be completed in his first term of in office.
She maintained that the governor had executed numerous projects across the state in fulfillment of his SMART agenda, and commended members and leaders of the EEPF for the confidence vote passed on Okowa.
