The coordinators of the political group Grace Mission in Isoko North Local Government Area of Delta State have pledged their unwavering support and loyalty to the Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, the council chairman, Hon. Godwin Ogorugba, and the State Organizing Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Hon. Emmanuel Egbabor.
The coordinators expressed their commitment during a courtesy visit to Hon. Ogorugba at his office in Ozoro, the administrative headquarters of the council, on Wednesday.
Speaking on behalf of the group, the Ward Coordinator of Oyede Ward 12, Mike Ijire, commended Ogorugba for his leadership, which has fostered development, peace, and unity in the council since his assumption of office. “We have absolute confidence in the leadership of Hon. Godwin Ogorugba and Hon. Emmanuel Egbabor, who are seasoned grassroots politicians in Isoko Nation. The emergence of our brother and leader, Hon. Egbabor, as the PDP State Organizing Secretary is truly a round peg in a round hole,” Ijire remarked.
The coordinators praised Ogorugba for what they described as the prudent management of resources during his first 100 days in office, highlighting achievements in infrastructure, human capital development, and basic amenities. They noted that these strides align with Governor Oborevwori's MORE Agenda, which focuses on delivering meaningful development across the state.
Ijire further declared the group's unflinching support: “Mr. Chairman, we members of Grace Mission Isoko North chapter will continue to support our amiable Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori. We will also stand firmly behind you, your administration, and our leader, Hon. Emmanuel Egbabor, the PDP State Organizing Secretary.”
In his response, Hon. Godwin Ogorugba expressed gratitude to the Grace Mission coordinators for their visit and their endorsement of his administration and Governor Oborevwori's MORE Agenda.
Ogorugba assured them of an open-door and inclusive government, stating, “With your support for me and His Excellency, I will remain focused on delivering my mandate to bring more dividends of democracy to the people of Isoko North. The projects you see now are just the beginning—expect more initiatives to be executed across the council.”
The chairman reaffirmed his commitment to ensuring sustained development and urged the group to continue their unwavering support for the state government’s policies and programs.
