Governor Okowa has no rival, his antecedents speaks volumes- Barr. Obule

Delta State Governor, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa have been described by Chief Barr. Ufuoma Obule as a man without rival in the forthcoming election due to his wonderful performances in the area of infrastructural development and empowerment since he became governor.

Chief Barr. Charles Ufuoma Obule who is a senatorial aspirant in the Delta Central  forthcoming senatorial election, stated this recently when he played host to cross section of youths and members of the Team SMART for Okowa at his Sapele residence.
The Okpe high chief commended the Governor, adding that his good works in Sapele and other parts of the state is obvious. He said the governor have constructed a lot of roads, built stadium, markets, health care facilities and other numerous empowerment programs which he said are enough to campaign and win election for him.
Chief Obule who was so optimistic, avowed that Okowa will have a landslide victory come 2019 due to his massive developmental projects which he said is taking place simultaneously in Okpe, Sapele, Uvwie and other parts of the state, maintaining that the governor deserved another tenure.
He lauded the activities of Team S.M.A.R.T especially for making Deltans to be abreast with facts of the Okowa successes and achievements across the state, noting that it is good to appreciate the Team as through their interaction with him, he has been able to get more facts on what the government is doing, thongs they have done and as well have insights into the future plans of the government.
The Erhi of Okpe Kingdom however urged Deltans to vote only credible candidates with true heart of leadership and service like Okowa, that he said; will add value to what Okowa already have on ground. He said Delta Central have not gotten it right all these years, hence he is offering himself to serve the good people of Delta Central in the forthcoming senatorial election.
On his part, the Director General of Team SMART, Hon. Sunny Orishedere thanked Chief Obule for his consistency, love and support to the PDP in Sapele and the state level in general.  He disclosed that the sensitization tour is very necessary so that Deltans can be aware and be informed on the activities of the Okowa S.M.A.R.T agenda, and other policies and programs of the government.
Hon. Orishedere averred that the vision and mission of the Okowa administration as enshrined in the S.M.A.R.T AGENDA is unbeatable, adding that it is an astonishing thing that as at January 2018, 187 road projects which were embarked on by the state government, 97 have been completed. He also revealed that within the period, over 267,000 registered Deltans including children under 5 years of age, pregnant women, nursing mothers and aged citizens of above 65 years are receiving free healthcare services from over 150 Hospitals and Primary Health Centres across the state.
Hon. Orishedere appealed to Deltans to visit their respective Local Government Councils to enroll in the program which is targeted at ensuring affordable and accessible healthcare services to all, noting that all the achievements of the administration cannot be listed in day, but disclosed further that the Basic and Secondary Education has been able to complete 97 projects out of the 381 embarked upon by this administration, while the Ministry of Health is not left out with 81 various projects out of which 35 have been completed with others at their various stages of completion.
The DG told the audience that it is no longer hidden that Okowa administration has brought greater unity and development to Delta State. In his words ” you have not seen anything, I assured you that by the time the Okowa I know round up his second tenure in 2023, Delta State will never remain the same”.
He thanked the good people of Sapele and Okpe kingdom for the massive support in the last election and said he belived that come 2019, it will be greater and better.
There were distribution of the SMART DIARY to all present with notable dignitaries like Frank Anukwu, Tony, Martins Eboh and Daniel Aneretan.
