Gov Oborevwori swears-in Ebikeme Clark as Commissioner

Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, swore in Chief Ebikeme Clark as the new Commissioner of Riverine Infrastructure Development on Wednesday at the Unity Hall in Asaba, alongside five other commissioners.

Governor Oborevwori urged the new commissioners to contribute meaningfully to the state's development, given the current economic challenges facing the nation. He emphasized the need for innovative and creative thinking at all levels to provide good governance for the people they serve.

Chief Clark expressed gratitude to his supporters and community, appealing for cooperation from the riverine community to work together to foster development. "I thank the people of Kiagbodo, those who believe in unity and peace, for attending my swearing-in ceremony. It was a pleasant surprise to see you in large numbers in Asaba."

The newly sworn-in commissioners and their respective ministries are: Val Arenyeka - Agriculture and Natural Resources; Hon. Peter Uviejitobor - Oil and Gas; Thankgod Trakiriowei - Youth Development; Hon. Sunday Tataobuzogwu - Energy; Smart Ijeoma - Technical Education.

Also, the following individuals were sworn in as Special Advisers:

Hon. George Oyefia - Agriculture and Natural Resources, Johnbull Edema - Bureau for Special Duties and Government House, Hon. Matthew Opuoru- Environment, Hon. Ramson Onoyake - Youths, Dr. Toyin Agbolayah - Community Development, Chief Onajite Brown, Government Affairs.
