God has chosen Tinubu as Nigeria’s President, says Oba of Benin

Oba N’Edo Uku Akpolokpolo Ewuare II, the Oba of Benin, has declared that God has chosen Bola Ahmed Tinubu as Nigeria’s President.

He made this declaration while calling on Nigerians to live in harmony regardless of differences.

He said this when he paid a courtesy visit to the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, at the Lagos House, Marina.

“God has chosen Tinubu as Nigeria’s president. We are all one. I am for peace and tranquilly.

“We must live as one. Nigeria is big. We must sort out our differences and learn to live as one big family,” he said.

The Lagos Governor tweeted the visit later, saying he was honoured by the visit by the Oba of Benin.

He said the monarch’s visit “reinforces our commitment to cultural harmony and collaboration.”

The Oba encouraged Sanwo-Olu to do more in his second four years in office.
