A Chieftain of Peoples Democratic Party in Delta and a former IPMAN Chairman, Chief Edafevwotu Samson Akpos has congratulated the Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori on his victory at the Supreme Court.
The Supreme Court of Friday reaffirmed the victory of Oborevwori in the March 18th, 2023 governorship election, dismissing the appeals by the he candidates of APC, DSP and LP for lack of merit.
Chief Akpos in his congratulations message to Governor Oborevwori noted that his victory at the Apex court is a testament to the overwhelming support of Deltans.
According to him, “On behalf of my family and friends, I Chief Edafevwotu Samson Akpos congratulate his excellency Governor Sheriff Oborevwori on his victory at the supreme court.
“Your excellency, your victory at the apex court is a testament of the rule of law and an Indication that Deltans overwhelmingly voted for you as their governor.
“As you pilot the affairs of Delta state, we wish to let you know that we will continue to support your MORE agenda in taking the state to the promised land.
“Once again we say congratulations your excellency and wishing you the best and God,s guidance in discharging your duty as the undisputable Sheriff in town.”
