Prominent Delta APC chieftain and boardroom expert, Olorogun O'tega Emerhor, OON, has congratulated the Director-General of the Delta State Bureau for Orientation and Communications (DELCOM), Dr. Fred Latimore Oghenesivbe, Esq, on receiving the “Iconic Media Strategist Award” from the Chartered Institute of Information and Strategy Management (CIISM).
In a personally signed goodwill message released on Saturday, October 11, and made available to newsmen in Asaba, Emerhor described Oghenesivbe as “a reliable, dependable and trusted communication strategist” whose professionalism and commitment have continued to distinguish him in public service.
He recalled their working relationship during and after the 2015 governorship election, when Oghenesivbe served as his Director of Media and Political Communications, noting that he “worked tirelessly and successfully projected the campaign to an enviable height.”
The APC leader, who also chairs the Standard Alliance Group, commended Oghenesivbe for his professional growth since joining the Delta State Government in 2017, and praised both Governor Sheriff Oborevwori and former Governor Ifeanyi Okowa for recognizing his competence through key appointments.
Emerhor lauded Governor Oborevwori’s commitment to human capital development and continuous capacity building for appointees and civil servants, urging Oghenesivbe to remain steadfast in promoting the governor’s MORE Agenda.
“Fred, I congratulate you as our brand new Iconic Media Strategist. The award is well deserved considering your sound academic background, hard work, and dedication to the realization of Governor Oborevwori’s vision,” Emerhor said.
He added that working with Oghenesivbe “was a great delight,” expressing pride in his professional achievements and advising him to remain loyal and focused.
“Our Governor’s commitment to human capital development cannot be overemphasized, and you are clearly one of the beneficiaries. You have nurtured DELCOM from grass to grace, and you truly deserve this heroic award,” Emerhor stated.
He wished Oghenesivbe continued success in his career, emphasizing that his recognition by CIISM reflects not only personal excellence but also the progress of Delta’s communication sector under his leadership.
